Best Summer Ever! It's like a second home to me. The counselers are nice, the food is great and everyone is nice. What I mean by nice is that if you don't want to do a challenging activity like the awesome rock wall tower or the giant swing you don't have to and everybody respects that. Can't wait for next year!

Overall, I would rate food 8/10, cabins 8/10, activities 9/10 and staff 10/10.

Food: I've heard from other campers that the food has been terrible throughout the past few years. However, it has greatly improved over the past year, and each meal has appetizing food, as well as a salad bar. The campers are waiters - they set up tables and bring food platters. A trading post, connected to the dining hall, contains drinks and snacks that can be eaten anywhere in camp.

Activities: There are many activities at Camp Bernie, such as climbing, biking, ball sports, low ropes/high ropes, zip line, archery, hiking, arts and crafts, swimming, boating and teambuilding. As long as you're not a person who spends his/her days hiding in a bedroom all day, there will be something in camp you're comfortable and satisfied with.

The best food on the world I have ever tasted

I had a very fun time at this camp. Every thing was great. I wish I took the opportunity to climb the rock wall but I missed out. My only complaint would be the food. I did not like the food. Maybe I just have a slim pallet.

Although I have only been going to this camp for 2 years, 3 weeks in total, it has been one of the best experiences I've had in my life. When you get to camp, it may take you a day or two to settle in, but once you do, you realize you're in for the best trip of your life. The food here is fantastic, the staff is supportive, inspiring, and wonderful, and the living quarters are one of my favorite parts of camp. Thank you Camp Bernie.

Cabins: The quality of the cabins vary, depending on which group you're put in upon entrance. The Shawnees have modern, comfortable cabins, whilist the Pioneers and Iroquois have smaller, but still comfortable cabins. The Nation has rustic cabins that are grouped around a bathhouse for the campers to use. The bathhouse is dirty, but bearable.

Staff: The staff are generally very nice and caring, so don't worry about being stuck in a boot camp for a month. Most of the staff have previously been campers at Camp Bernie, and many campers wish to become staff later in life.

(In total, 8.75/10)
